So one of the requirements to being a harbour pilot is to have nerves of steel and a sense of timing so that you can jump from a moving ship to a rolling speed boat - any takers

Next stop was Port Alberni - watched a log barge dump its logs
First stop was Victoria but instead of taking one of the tours we did our own - great walk around the city with of course - picture at the Empress, Beacon Hill Park, Mile Zero, and back to the ship at Ogden Point
Finally we are of and leaving the harbour, past Brockton Point and under the Lions Gate

Laura and I came across a five day local cruise from Holland and America which was just to cruise around the local area.

Just after watching Brody play inline hockey we come outside and here is this beautiful double rainbow
hee-hee - I agree with Vange... by the time I got to the end, all my questions were answered :) Blogging is silly that way: unless you make a backwards plan for putting the pictures in, you have to do all the pain-stakingly slow picture rearranging in the end. We need to keep blogging tho, because Dad & Mom are always checking and enjoy all the pics. Lovely holiday Terry & Laura. Sometime we might do a cruise - it does look wonderfully relaxing!
